Thanks for the tip. Post some pics if you can. I'd like to see it. What kind of paint did you use? I really want to do the same to mine but I'll need different paint - mine are all enamel.
I apologize for not having a pic to post, but I thought it worth mentioning that after spending only 15 minutes drybrushing some white on the staue, I revealed a ton of hidden detail!
Corrugated pipes now popped out of the background, and I never even noticed the hands holding the spray paint cans until I highlighted them.
You will notice far more detail after some drybrushing.
I'll try to pst pics tomorrow...I forgot to take some.

Acrylic paint works best. It dries flat and drybrushes great.
Just be sure to work almost ALL the paint off your brush before touching the statue, or some fine detail would fill in with paint.
I'll post pics this aft. if I get time.

yeah, but all those pipes you see as a dark blob of crap in the photo will have tons of character and detail after the drybrush.
Mmmmm...I dunno. I haven't seen this piece beyond the prototype so I can't argue. Sure, highlighting the details reveals them, but in my opinion they should be dark, and hidden away in their brooding glory, only to be discovered by one who wishes to join them. That's Giger.
I digress - it's your custom. I wouldn't mind seeing the pics when you post 'em.
